Project Manager

FSI General Contractor’s Project Manager provides the overall leadership for the execution of successful outcomes on commercial projects. The Project Manager is accountable for safety, managing client expectations, schedule, budget, cash projection, and quality performance to ensure work is completed on time, within budget and up to expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct overall project.
  • Manage all functions of assigned projects throughout all phases of construction. Functions include Customer satisfaction, Safety, Project Schedule, Construction Planning, Cost Control Procedures, Contract Administration, Change Orders negotiations, Subcontractor/supplier coordination.
  • Coordinate with Superintendent on maximizing labor and equipment productivity.
  • Review and approve subcontractor/supplier invoices.
  • Review and approve subcontractor agreements and PO’s.
  • Monitor timely execution of subcontract agreements and insurance certificates prior to commencement of subcontractor work.
  • Ensure daily reports are completed by the Superintendent.
  • Monitor drawings, procedures, and submittal process.
  • Edit and review job costs weekly.
  • Review and update project schedules.
  • Facilitate project close outs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
  • Use of Microsoft Suite products a must, Bluebeam and Timberline (Sage) preferred.
  • Tasks must be completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communication is to be timely and clear.

Site Positions - Foreman, Heavy Equipment Operators, Laborers, Pipe Layers, and Concrete personnel

FSI is looking for individuals to join our Site Crew. Those with a Class A CDL with heavy moving experience are urged to apply. Experience is preferred; however, training is available for enthusiastic candidates. Must be able to work and adapt to a multi-location work environment, have a valid driver’s license, as well as reliable transportation. OSHA 10 certification is preferred but can be provided upon employment is needed.

  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • This position is open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED.
  • A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more.

Acoustical Position - Carpenters, Drywallers

FSI is looking for carpenters/drywallers. You must be able to adapt to a multilocation environment and have general knowledge of the construction industry and safe practices. Candidates with strong work ethic, detail oriented and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. OSHA 10 certification is preferred but can be provided upon employment is needed.

Responsibilities include construct metal/woods studs framing, hang and finish drywall, install drop ceilings, hollow metal doors, hardware, commercial exterior framing and siding, wood trim and cabinets, millwork installation, trim carpentry, and demolition. This position requires the use of your own hand tools and the use of a variety of basic power tools.

Requirements:

  • We prefer 3 years minimum experience.
  • Must be able to understand building layout and read blueprints.
  • Must be able to lift to 75 lbs., bend, dig, perform repetitive motion tasks, in all types of weather, unassisted.
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
